GOAA Paperbacks + Updates

Hey guys! I hope all of you are doing well during these difficult times. My family and I are all alright, though some of us have been struggling with diminished incomes and the lifestyle restrictions of the stay-at-home order in Idaho. Personally, my lifestyle hasn’t changed too much, since I have a home office and am a bit of a homebody anyway, but I am looking forward to things going back to normal.

The Seeds of Chaos series is finished with the last book, Gods of Ash and Amber. Thank you very much to everyone who bought the book, recommended the series to their friends, or otherwise helped support me.

Both ebook and paperback options are now available. You can see the proof copy of the paperback above, which took sooo long to print and come to me with the delays due to the coronavirus. Below is an interior shot.

I’ve had some questions about when the audio version will be released, but I don’t have a timeline on that yet. Audio is quite expensive, especially for long books like my own. I do plan to complete audiobooks of the entire series (except the novella), but I’m a few thousand dollars away from being able to produce the final book.

As a small bonus to celebrate the end of the series, I mocked up a little threat dossier on Eve for those of you on my newsletter.

Coming next is a new series, A Practical Guide to Sorcery. It’s a hard fantasy series (magic is a science, with a cost for everything it gives) centering around a young woman who is determined to become the most powerful sorcerer in her generation. I’ve written most of the first book, and am going to do an experiment with serializing it chapter-by-chapter on this website before official publication. The first chapter will be coming out at the end of next month, though you can read a short excerpt now.

I have SO MUCH fun writing this new series, so I hope you guys will have fun reading it as well.

Ciao for now!
